The only real frustration was the WLAN. It was pretty slow, and access lasted just two hours at a time. As far as I could tell, you had to log in again each time. Still, we enjoyed our stay a lot, and five out of five feels right. Our junior suite was spacious, with a whirlpool and a huge shower and bathroom area. The bed was comfortable, and the room stayed quiet throughout. You could control the lights from several spots, and there was an extensive menu of food and drinks to order. Breakfast tasted great, served in a compact room that suited the hotel's small number of rooms and the area's calm feel. Hotel Morgana started our stay off well with a parking garage, where we had our own space behind an electric gate. Not every room comes with garage access, so it's something to check before booking. Rodengo Saiano is a quiet little town with plenty of nice places to eat and lovely scenery for a peaceful walk. There's a highway nearby, but we couldn't hear it from the room, and there's a supermarket across the street. The receptionists were welcoming, and the cleaning staff were kind. They unfortunately didn't speak English, so we had to bring the receptionists into the conversation.

Everyone was really nice, and I loved both the hotel and the area. Having your own parking box for the vehicle is great. My one gripe: the shower glass is set in the middle of the beam, so showering leaves the rest of the bathroom floor wet.

The private parking box was excellent, and you can lock it yourself. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and the air conditioning and bed were good. Breakfast was simple but good, and the coffee was nice. There are shops nearby, plus a petrol station and car wash. The hotel also has nice Mille Miglia memorabilia. There was no restaurant for dinner, unfortunately. Our room had plaster coming off the wall by the entrance, mould in the bathroom caulk, and showering flooded the toilet area. Breakfast was simple but good.

The coffee and breakfast were good, the staff were nice, and the place was clean. That was about it. Pillows like rocks, poor dim lighting, and the bathroom sink taps had their ends cut off in every room, so turning on the water left you absolutely soaked. Really, properly soaked. We tried putting a towel in the sink to soften the splash. Room lights and power only work while you're inside, so you can't leave an iPad charging while you go out to dinner. There's nowhere to put luggage, despite all the wasted room space, because the entry hall has an unusable piece of furniture in the way. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. Gross. Maybe it came from the outdoor ashtray by the back door on the first floor. They rent rooms for as little as four hours, and each room has a private screened parking space. That does make you wonder. This might be best for a four-hour stay. Give us softer pillows, working room lights and usable sinks, and the place would be 100 percent better, especially for a longer stay.

There's an excellent, well-managed garage service, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and fairly new throughout, with spacious, comfortable rooms. It's also very close to Iseo Lake, making it a handy base for trips to nearby places.
