A real hidden gem for cross-country skiing, with 50 km of trails starting right outside the hotel's front door. The staff were super friendly and the food was great. Thanks, Johannes, for sharing your place with us. See you in 2026.
After walking in the nearby mountains and reaching a peak, we stopped at S. Its wooden structures and details give it a lovely, traditional feel. There's plenty of outdoor space with benches, and it also feels very comfortable if you need to stay inside. Families with kids can enjoy some amusements nearby. Last year, I played a game like petanque there with my sons, a nice extra during the visit. The food is hearty and made with genuine ingredients, just what you need for a fresh start. Try the dishes and desserts with a fresh hefe weizen. Enjoy!
I went on vacation with my partner, and we were really pleased with the food and the attention from the staff.
The newly established building sits in the middle of the rodenecker alm. It's a somewhat longer walk than to the other restaurants, but worth it. The staff are kind, and the portions are generous.
The view was spectacular, and the staff were quick and efficient. A lovely experience.
