The staff are lovely, and it’s a good place to stay. It does need some restructuring, though.

There’s no WiFi.

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and the snack corner was friendly too. The village itself is beautifully laid out and clearly has a lot of potential. Our bungalow had a new kitchen and was reasonably equipped, but the mattresses were poor. We found dirty, hairy mattress covers, unclean food drawers, cutlery, plates, and glasses, plus dirt behind furniture and under the beds. We spent two hours cleaning before we could settle in. The resort grounds weren’t swept during our stay, so leaves and paper were all over the place. The walk from the main entrance is longer than the stated 150 meters, and the way back is uphill. The beach is shared between the hotel and the public, while the entertainment area is far off and has very few entertainers. We had asked about a shuttle while booking and again on arrival, and were told there was one. The following day it didn’t run, including at the scheduled times. Even after the kind receptionist called about it, nothing changed. The pool is lovely but has no effective supervision. The lifeguard only spoke to people who were wearing caps incorrectly or politely apologized, while others ignored the rules and splashed water onto the loungers. When we raised this, he said he couldn’t do anything. The entertainment team tried to make the evenings enjoyable for the kids, but they were inexperienced and poorly organized. There were only five of them, so they couldn’t cover all the shifts. Even in busy August, management had everything shut down by 11:00 or 11:30 PM, with no simple foam party or anything like that. The delicatessen was out of even basic things in mid-August, including bread, and the prices were exorbitant. At the bar, breakfast items had run out by 8:00 a.m., so we had to wait for more to be baked. For what we paid, the place didn’t deliver. It’s a shame, because the facility is beautiful and has so much potential if it were better run.

The sea was the one thing my children, aged 3 and 7, loved. Otherwise, I would have left on the first day. The accommodations were old, dirty, smelly, and run down, and their cleanliness was practically nonexistent. Service fell short for me. The food was poor, with waits of up to 40 minutes between courses. The shared areas were dirty and seemed never to be cleaned, with litter, glasses, and pine needles all over the floor. The entertainment team had four talented young people, but they didn’t have the tools to do their jobs. They seemed like decent, well-mannered kids. I’d avoid this resort. The recent positive reviews must have been written by entertainers’ relatives: some of the staff are only 16, and their parents are rightly looking after them. Those latest reviews are definitely made up.
