We booked at the last minute, and I was sorry we couldn’t stay longer. We had an apartment and it was really lovely, so stylish, with each room taking you into a different story. I couldn’t stop wandering around. There’s plenty in the house to keep you occupied and have a nice time on a longer stay. I can imagine this place being wonderful for celebrating a big event. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

The owner is really friendly and nice, and the Villa itself is incredibly lovely. It’s a great place to stay in a very nice region. The dinner, though, didn’t match the quality of the hotel or the front desk service.

My wife and I spent two nights at this Villa near Bassano de Grappa in September. We’d flown from Canada and driven from Milan, and were tired and feeling like we might be getting a cold. We were hoping for a quiet, comfortable stay. At check-in, the receptionist said there was a birthday party in the courtyard that evening and it would finish by 11pm. Instead, the DJ and party carried on past 2am. We complained at midnight because we couldn’t sleep, but the music continued after 1am, followed by loud, drunk partygoers who didn’t leave until after 2am. They were locals who had rented the courtyard for the party, with loudspeakers, a DJ and dancing, not hotel guests. The Villa made money from the event while we, as hotel guests, had to put up with it. I asked for a €50 discount for that night, which they agreed to, but three weeks later the Villa still hadn’t credited us. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The Villa has an interesting family history, but it’s poorly managed and has minimal staff. You have to carry your own bags upstairs because there’s no elevator. It’s also a rental venue for outside events, so you don’t know what will be happening on the property. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, and there was a pool table outside our room that other guests could use at any time. If they stay up late playing, you have to deal with the noise and inconvenience.

This place is simply magical. It feels like stepping 200 years back into the time of a nobleman in the "Serenissima republic" of Venice. The villa is beautiful, with lovely paintings, a cellar set up like a dungeon, and a garden with activities for younger visitors. There’s even a private chapel.
