Marida was warm, friendly, and reliable, and she shared great tips for things to do nearby. We loved the large, park-like garden, especially at sunset by the amazing pool. The house itself is beautiful and elegant, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. We had a wonderful time at her place in Santa Flavia. Everything was perfect, and we'd highly recommend it!

We rented the whole space for our group of 14, and it worked perfectly. The suites were clean, and the pool and its views were amazing. There was a nice BBQ area too. The friendly hosts made us feel welcome. The train station, restaurants, butcher shops, and a store were all about a 15-minute walk away.

We felt welcome at the villa and had a great stay. The garden is pretty, and the homes are spacious and comfortable. There's a nice pool and a barbecue area on the top terrace as well. If you're interested in art and science, you'll enjoy staying here too.

I'd recommend renting a car, since the place is a bit remote and the walk down to the coast would be taxing. Marida is a very friendly, welcoming host who clearly wants you to enjoy your stay. The apartments are comfortable and well maintained, and the air conditioning works well, which matters in summer. The pool is great for cooling off, though it's too small for swimming. It's about 5 feet deep in the centre. There's a barbecue on site too.

Villa Paladino Solunto is a peaceful retreat after a day in the bustle of Palermo, about 10 miles to the west. The north coast of Sicily has lovely fishermen's villages and amazing beaches. Solunto's Phoenician and Roman archaeological site is just behind the property, about 5 minutes away by car or a 15-minute uphill walk. The location is stunning, the pool is so relaxing, and the hospitality is the warmest. Marida and Beppe, the owners, and their puppy Baba were gracious hosts. We became friends on our first stay in June 2021, and by our second visit in August 2022, they felt like family.
