Palazzo Franceschini

Room 444 had a wonderful outlook over the town and mountains, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower and everything else worked well, and the air conditioning was good, though the nights were cool enough that I didn't need it. We came to Cascia for the Feast Day of St. Rita, and this hotel sits right in the center, close to restaurants, gift shops, and a few bars. The staff were friendly and answered our questions about town, as well as helping with transportation back to Florence. I'd happily book the same room again and recommend the place to family and friends.

The staff really came through when I had to change my reservation at the last minute, even though the hotel was fully booked for that date. We were only there briefly, but had a very pleasant stay in a lovely room. The hotel is in a great spot, in a beautiful historic building.

The only downside was parking. There isn't free parking, but the hotel gave us an all-day ticket for the large public lot at the foot of town for €5. Cascia is built on a hill, though the Basilica, shops, and places to eat are within walking distance of the hotel. There are lifts and escalators nearby if the uphill walk is difficult. We spent one night here in May 2023 in a Romantic Quadruple Room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains and countryside. The centuries-old residence has been refurbished, so the room felt fairly new and had modern facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mario, who served us with a smile. I enjoyed breakfast too. I'd recommend staying here and would choose it again if I return to Cascia.

The rooms are fantastic. The building is amazing, and the customer service was great. It felt like a real WOW Experience, easily worth 5+ Stars.
