I just arrived with my dog, and the hotel had already set out a dog bed and bowls, plus a welcome wine. Such a thoughtful touch. I'm really happy to be staying here for four nights. Before the trip, booking the room took a lot of back-and-forth, but the Romeo Hotel team handled it smoothly and got everything secured. Luca from reservations was especially helpful. He put guests first, followed up without being asked, and worked through every issue with real care. I've never dealt with a hotel staff member so dedicated, and meeting him felt like a blessing. I can't wait to stay here. This team really goes the extra mile, and I highly recommend them.

We spent four nights here, and the restaurant staff remembered my preferences from the first day. The omelette at breakfast was the best I've had, even better than the one I tried in the US. The room was fantastic, and the staff were phenomenal. Everything felt elegant and nicely put together. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I travel a lot for work, more than 40 hotel nights this year, and this was one of the good ones. The hotel was pristine, the staff professional, and I was welcomed by a familiar face every time, which matters a lot to me. It was fully booked, but during the day I had the place almost to myself since most guests were out touring. I like to relax, so that suited me perfectly. The breakfast was insane. Best French toast of my life, and the cookpot carbonara had the best fried eggs I've ever had. The head chef has 20+ Michelin stars, and you can tell. The sauna and steam room were scorching, and there was great security and assistance at the front door. I had an amazing four-night stay. Some reviews are from angry people who never stayed or ate here, and they make me laugh. Thanks to everyone.

The entrance makes quite an impression, all light, stone, and carefully arranged design. It felt almost like stepping into a more elegant world. But we hadn't come just to look. We arrived spontaneously, intending to check in right then, and within seconds were called disruptive, gawking tourists and rudely shown the door. It felt as if we were an unwanted backdrop rather than possible guests. I even asked for an espresso on a whim. The machine was right there, but apparently it wasn't for people being dismissed so coldly. The hotel felt immaculate, empty, and chilly, more like a haunted house or a museum that dislikes its visitors. It wasn't fully booked, which didn't surprise me. That kind of treatment sends away more than customers, it takes the idea of hospitality with it. We'll go back to the Bvlgari after all. At least there you're treated as a guest instead of sent home like an unwanted noise.

Our worst stay in Rome. There was no service, and the receptionist was wearing jogging or yoga pants. I don't understand how they can be rated 5 stars when they seem to miss the basics of hospitality. For a real palace experience, with great hospitality, privacy, and safety, I'd recommend Orient Express La minerva, Bulgari Hotel, or Hotel Eden. They're definitely better and more luxurious options in Rome.
