Hotel Olimpic

We stayed just one night in February 2019, and the price felt very fair for the quality. The hotel faces the Ice Ring Pine' and Serraia lake, a lovely place, is about a 15-minute walk away. There’s an underground garage and free bikes for guests, too. Our room and the rest of the hotel had been recently renovated and were clean and well looked after. The warm atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcome. Breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed dinner as well. The SPA has an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, gym, and solarium, with free tea and apples. We were there with my wife. Recommended!

We’ve been here for over a week with a large group, and the hotel has taken wonderful care of us. Everyone’s been happy with the rooms: comfortable, homey, and very clean. The food has been outstanding at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they’ve gone above and beyond to handle the different dietary needs in our group. It’s a family-run place where the hosts really go out of their way for you. Hotel Olimpic feels like an authentic holiday stay, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone coming from abroad. I only wish I knew more Italian so I could properly thank the hosts. The city and its people have been lovely, and I’d absolutely stay here again with my family if I get the chance. Neapo, the adorable hotel dog, has brightened my days while I’ve been two weeks away from my own beloved dog. Grazie Hotel Olimpic!

Hotel Olimpic is just above the Icerink Piné, in the pretty village of Baselga. Downstairs there’s a comfortable wellness centre with a sauna and swimming pool. The regional menu is good, and everything is served fresh. Most rooms and bathrooms are a bit tight on space, though they’re clean, and the showers could use an upgrade.

The place feels welcoming, with friendly staff and really good food.
