Hotel Gianlore

My husband, son, and I have just finished a WONDERFUL 10-day stay at the Gianlore Hotel. We ate really well, with different choices every day, and our clean, air-conditioned room had a safe and a small terrace. The hotel is small and well organized, without too much clutter, even during the week of August 15th. Its position is strategic, near the beach and close to the centers of both Milano Marittina and Cervia. The wait staff were attentive and courteous. Special thanks to Giada for looking after us and putting up with my husband's endless breadsticks! And thanks to the reception team, especially Silvia and Nicole, for making us feel pampered and entertaining Alessandro, particularly with the water fights on August 15th. They were impeccable hosts. Holidays ending are always sad, but this year it's even harder because we're leaving a piece of our hearts at the Gianlore. ❤️

The reception staff we met were unbelievably kind and helpful. We booked through an offer that included Mirabilandia tickets, so two adults and three children paid €266 for two nights with breakfast and one-day tickets for everyone. Under the offer, parking was €9 a day, while direct guests park free. There are also blue spaces outside for €1.20 an hour from 8:00 am to midnight. Breakfast is served in the garden and tasted great, with a good balance of sweet and savory options. The main problem for us was the very patchy cleaning, which is why I gave three stars. The rough resin floor in the room and on the balcony seemed to hold onto hair after mopping. We bought a rag and bleach and tried cleaning it ourselves, but it was still dirty. There was hair throughout the bathroom, even on the shower faucet. We asked the cleaner the next morning to do a better job. She politely said she was already cleaning well, but when we got back there was even more hair. We couldn't bring ourselves to tell reception because everyone there was so nice and we didn't want to make a fuss. I hope they see this review. I would actually return for the staff and the hotel's closeness to the sea. For reference, towels were changed for everyone, and there's no refrigerator.

I joined two friends and their little girls and had a lovely time. The hotel is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with excellent, kind staff, delicious food, and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience both professionally and personally. Thanks for making me feel so comfortable. Sending hugs, and I hope to see you again next summer.

The hotel is only a few meters from the sea, and the prices are very competitive, which is no small thing these days. The food was EXCELLENT and different every day, though you might come home a few pounds heavier :). I spent a week there with my aunt, who stayed on for two more. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars. Silvia, Antonella, Nicole, and the rest of the staff were so courteous, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel at home, like we were on holiday with old friends, and took care of every request. We could have spent hours chatting with them. They're truly wonderful people! Thank you, girls. We'll definitely see you next year!!!! Mirna and Marisa
