They show you a menu for 18 euros with water and a first and second course, then at payment claim the courses were two separate menus and charge 14 euros each. So it came to 28 euros for bottled water, a cheap pasta dish and a miserable plate of vegetables. Why list them as first and second courses together, then? They start shouting as if you stole something. The food quality was poor too, and the pasta was seriously undercooked. Any other cafe in town does better. I’m from here, so I know this isn’t somewhere to go, but I had to try it at some point. A fraud!

Breakfast was lovely, and I’d certainly look forward to coming back. The hotel is lovely and very central. The lights felt a bit bright, so a softer bedside or reading light would be a plus. There’s space for a minibar, but no minibar.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a generously sized bed, but I wouldn’t return. Breakfast runs from 7 to 9am and checkout is at 10am, an extremely early schedule that left little room to relax and enjoy the break. We felt unwell and asked for a later checkout, but were told no. Communication was possible through my partner’s basic Italian and our Spanish, since the staff mostly speak Italian.

The room was nice, the staff were pleasant, and everything was really clean. Since we were a big group there for a wedding, I would have liked a few more late breakfast options.

A good place to stay, close to Brescia. The hotel is new, and the rooms are clean, spacious and nice. The only downside was that there was no free water in the room.
