The location was a real problem. I trusted the listing on Booking.com, which said the room was 10 km from the center, but it turned out to be 35 km away. I should have checked Google Maps myself. There was a bus only once an hour and getting there meant at least five changes. A taxi cost me €50. The room was said to have a garden view, though what it actually looked onto was the house's garage. We stayed just one night, and it was an experience I'd rather forget. It didn't seem like a room meant for guests. There was dust everywhere, including beneath the bed and in the bathroom drawers. The TV kept cutting out even after the owner tapped the decoder "twice." The bathroom was especially bad, with damp stains all over and exposed electrical wires. Instead of a shower tray, there was just a floor drain, so water spread from the shower to the sink and toilet. Even one star feels like a gift. Owning a "home" doesn't mean you can profit from guests like this. I'd be a fool to pay up front. I hope nobody else has to go through what we did.

Mrs. Maria is wonderful. The place was clean and comfortable, and the house is well kept in a good part of Rome. It's also easy to reach and close to the ring road. I slept well here, and it'll be my usual place when I come back to Rome.

The only part we really appreciated was the woman who welcomed us. She was kind and helpful. The room and shared breakfast area could have been much cleaner, and the ensuite bathroom was terrible. The B&B is outside Rome in a less than desirable area, while the prices are about the same as other B&Bs.

We had two quiet nights in a really nice, well cared for room. The bathroom was modest, but the woman who greeted us was VERY KIND and went out of her way to help. Recommended!
