My child got sick, so I couldn't make it to the flat I'd booked for that day. I asked the owner to move the dates so he wouldn't lose any money, or at least discuss a cancellation that worked for both of us. He saw my WhatsApp messages but didn't reply to the date change request until the last moment. I had to cancel yesterday and lost 90% of my deposit. This kind of unprofessional behavior is hard to find even in Italy. The owner was rude, and I wouldn't recommend the place. I'm sorry I had to deal with him, and hope he enjoys the money I worked hard for.

We felt a bit pressured at checkout. At 11 in the morning, someone was knocking for us to leave, and they waited downstairs until we came out. We only stayed two nights. The flat is clean and very well located, but the photos don't really show what it's like. The bathroom is very old and there's little decoration, with the pictures focused on the nicer things. If decor matters to you, or you're a bit demanding, this isn't the place for you. It's a cheap-looking place. I wouldn't recommend it. There are lots of options in Rome, so don't try to save money, it ends up costing more.
