Our mornings at Grappoli di Sole were a highlight. The hostess made all kinds of homemade pastries, including bread, croissants, sponge cake, coffee cake, and apple pie, and we'd look forward to breakfast every day. She also took our coffee order and served it, though the machine was easy to use. We stayed in the countryside at the start of our summer holiday, hoping for a gentle change of pace after life in a busy city. Getting used to the time difference meant we were up early, and from our balcony we enjoyed the sunrise, fresh morning air, and vineyard views. The hostess kindly drove us to and from Pomezia - S. Palomba station. From there, the train to Roma Termini took about 16 minutes, and it felt quite safe to visit the tourist spots from there. She also gave us a bottle of white wine made from the vineyard grapes. It was refreshing, neither too dry nor too fruity. I'd recommend Grappoli di Sole to tourists visiting Rome who want a relaxing, personal stay.

The kids were so happy around all the animals, and the food was excellent. Such a lovely setting for a family day, with a relaxed, at-home feel. It’s a great place to unwind, and would work well for parties too. We’d gladly come back. See you soon 🥳🥳🥳
