Imperatori Hotel

The hotel was very dirty, and the staff were rude and unwelcoming. They charged us for the small bottle of water in each room without telling us beforehand. Everywhere else it's complimentary. It's also a long way from the center, and the buses don't run properly. Worst experience in Rome. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

Parking was difficult because it was on the street. The room was good and I slept well, though there was a little mold around the shower edges.

The staff were friendly, but the hotel's far from the center and the place has badly deteriorated. It might have been a four-star property 30 years ago, but it falls well short of that now. The photos bear no resemblance to the reality, and there's no sign of investment. In a room at a supposed four-star hotel, the carpet looked unacceptable. I even found nail clippings on the filthy carpet. Extremely disappointing.

The bus stops made it convenient to get downtown, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a misunderstanding between the travel agency and the hotel, but the team found a good solution and we had a great stay. I'd strongly recommend the hotel. They were professional and took care of their guests.
