La Locanda Di Borghetto

The place itself is beautiful and deserves better management. I was very disappointed with the stay. I had requested rooms for four people, not triples, but they didn't arrange that, so I had to move beds between rooms. The setup also didn't match what we'd discussed for weeks, including the layout and sleeping arrangements. The heating worked in only three of the five rooms, and the shared spaces were really inadequate. The kitchen couldn't be used because it was full of ants. The refrigerators were either unplugged or packed with bottles, presumably left by earlier guests. In rooms for two, there was only one guest's worth of towels, and the shared bathrooms had none. One bedroom bathroom was completely clogged and unusable. I'd also been shown a video with fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit lit, but nothing was on when we arrived. Immoby Management handled the property, but the two people there weren't up to the task. The guys from Ancona, Lorenzo and Edoardo, probably can't provide the management this beautiful place needs.

Our stay in Rome was made even nicer by the thoughtful breakfast and the way every need was attended to. The property is tastefully furnished, and the hospitality was excellent, with courtesy and discretion throughout. Prices are more than fair and certified. Highly recommended. A special thank you to the caretaker, Domith, whose attentiveness and discretion made us feel like special guests.

I never expected to find countryside in Rome, so this inn was a lovely surprise. The small farmhouse is charming, and everything is cared for down to the little details. The food really stands out: generous, varied gourmet dishes full of traditional flavors, complemented by produce from the vegetable garden. The rooms are elegant, clean, affordable, and have a distinct Provençal feel. The warmth and hospitality make this an experience I’d happily repeat.

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the food was authentic and high quality. Service was attentive and impeccable. The place is charming and carefully maintained, with spacious rooms and lots of fresh flowers. It works well for children too.
