Breakfast was brilliant and plentiful, with tea, coffee, orange juice, breads, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cheese spread, jams, honey, brioche, cakes, biscuits, yogurt, homemade granola, and fresh fruit. The food was laid out in the kitchen for you to help yourself, with a coffee machine and milk creamer to use, plus an iron if needed. Silvia was a great host, friendly and helpful with information about the room and area. She even brought us glue when my shoe broke, and offered us a courtesy key so we could leave our bags after checkout. We were five minutes on foot from the Spanish Steps and close to lots of sights that were easy to reach walking. It was a lovely base for our first trip to Rome, and we'll definitely be back. The accommodation was easy to find, a five-minute walk from the station, and Silvia met us at the BB with a friendly welcome. Our room was on the fourth floor, reached by a quaint old lift instead of the stairs. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bed was large, very comfy, and had great pillows. There was plenty of hanging and storage space. The modern bathroom was very clean, with a large rainforest shower, hand and shower gel, and a decent hairdryer. There was also a kettle in the bedroom. Both windows looked out over the streets and shops.
