Le Due Lune

The cicoria was outstanding, and the view is incredible. The restaurant itself is lovely, while the service was fast and friendly. Some of the starters were good: the tuna tartar, though I’d have preferred colder tuna, and the octopus both had gourmet flavor combinations and were plated well. We skipped the first courses. The mixed grilled seafood and trancia fish were average at best. The salmon and swordfish weren’t very tasty, and the shrimp took a lot of work for little meat. The trancia was just average. The bread was horrible, though some crispy focaccia was delicious where it wasn’t burnt or raw. Dessert was terrible. The peach melba and pina colada had bad flavor combinations, melted everywhere, and came with the wrong utensils. When we mentioned this at payment, they gave us a €5 “discount” instead of removing the €16 charge from the bill. I’d call the whole place a 3.5, not impressed. It wasn’t the absolute worst, but I think the 5-star reviews are overrated, and we won’t eat here again. There are lots of better options nearby with similar views.
