I slept really well, and there are good restaurants nearby. The train station for getting into central Roma is only a five-minute walk away. The room was nice and had everything I needed, and the people were absolutely lovely and friendly.

The room I had was decent, and the place was quiet. But the bed was just a deckchair-style mattress about 10 cm thick, so I can't rate the stay higher. I was there for one night and expected more from the included services. Apart from a jug of tap water in the fridge, there really weren't any. There was a tiny TV in the shared living room instead of one in my room, and it didn't work anyway, so there was no privacy for watching it. The Wi-Fi signal was so weak it was useless. For the price, I expected at least a small breakfast, maybe a snack and fruit juice. I couldn't find a hotel in the area that suited me for the same price with those services included. They call it a residence, but to me it's a detached house with a shared living room and kitchen and four rooms converted into bedrooms with bathrooms, nothing more. Decide for yourself if that's worth booking. They didn't even give me a receipt. Update: In response to the owner's reply, I paid in advance, so asking for an invoice or receipt shouldn't be my responsibility. It should be issued automatically, as you know (But we're Romans). As for my written comments about the services, which you say aren't true, I say: prove it to me. I suggest reconsidering what you wrote, since I can show photos of what I described and publish them. I stand by everything in my original review.

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The owner was wonderful and explained it all to us in detail. It felt so peaceful here, almost removed from the city's chaos, even though the city is still just a few minutes away. The place was very functional too. We had a lovely stay and will come back.

The owners are top-notch, and the place is very clean and carefully looked after. If you're after a peaceful stay in Rome, I'd recommend it. See you again soon.
