Residenza Campus Roma

The customer service was awful. I was charged the Booking.com price, then accused over a cup that had already been chipped. I ended up having to buy two cups. There was also a towel issue: I accidentally spilled coffee on one, and the owner texted right away, upset and rude, asking lots of questions about why it was dirty. Staff were annoyed when we asked about room cleaning, and anything that had been used seemed to become a big problem. I've never had a worse experience or worse service. The only good thing was the swimming pool, but you had to wear a hat or cap to use it. What a joke. I'll never come back. 🙁

We booked through bookin.com and clearly gave our arrival time as 9 pm, and said we'd be bringing a dog under 15 kg. Less than 30 minutes later they called and asked us to cancel, saying they wouldn't accept us because it was too late and dogs weren't allowed. She even texted that they'd charge the full night and not let us sleep there if we didn't cancel. After that, they still tried to charge us for the night, despite knowing we hadn't been allowed to stay. They called to cancel, then tried to make us cancel ourselves so we'd lose the reservation money. Awful experience. These people are scammers, and this place should be avoided.

The rooms are simple, but clean and nice. I was greeted warmly when I arrived. Communication can be a bit hard if you don't speak English.

Breakfast isn't included, though there's a kitchen on site. The rooms are small and have few outlets. The property is a few hundred meters from the BioMedico Campus. Staff weren't helpful, and the required check-in window is 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. That's especially restrictive for business travelers, given how far it is from Termini Station.
