The Salesians lost the property in 2017 after a badly mishandled legal case over accepting a large legacy from a disputed will. It’s hard to see what else could be done with the place, so it’ll probably become something like a hotel again in time.

A lovely spot to stay and get some rest.

The breakfast buffet was generous, included in the price, and a pleasant surprise. The staff were courteous and professional too, with someone at reception around the clock. Salesianum is a good fit if you want a simple place that’s still comfortable and practical. The rooms are plain but have what you need, and everything was spotless. Don’t let the low price put you off. #BeQuality&Price

There’s a large, lesser-known park with lots of greenery and both soccer and basketball courts. Peacocks wander around freely, and kids are especially drawn to them.

We stayed at a friend’s place in this complex. It’s surrounded by greenery, and both the stay and the food were excellent.
