Ca' dei Boieti casa vacanze

This is a cosy apartment at 900m in a small mountain town with a couple of restaurants, a cafe and a supermarket. It’s a lovely place to switch off, and the cooler air is a welcome change from the valley. There’s good cycling, road biking and hiking nearby. Lake Garda is about 30m away, down a winding road through the mountains. From outside the apartment looks pretty ordinary, but inside it’s decorated with real taste. The linen is very good and the kitchenette is well equipped. The hostess was generous, too. My only complaint was the poor Wi-Fi.

The apartment itself was beautiful and clean, just like the photos, but I thought the price was way too high for a village with so few amenities. You can stay nearer the lake for a little more. We’d agreed with the kind owner on a discount for booking outside the Booking App, but after the holiday we found that booking through the app would have cost LESS, even with all the fees. There were no curtains or blinds. The sun woke us at 5:00 in the morning and made it impossible to sleep, and we had to hang towels over the windows for privacy during intimate moments. I hope this feedback is taken into account when improving the offer. Best regards.

We had a wonderful few days at the start of January, and Clara's kindness and hospitality made the holiday. Our apartment at Ca' dei Boieti was brand new, clean and comfortable for a family of five. Ronzo Chienis has a well-stocked cooperative market, and I’d suggest having dinner at Martinelli's, just a few metres from the house. The restaurant and pizzeria serve excellent food. It’s also a great base for Rovereto and its museums, as well as walks and hikes on Monte Creino and Monte Stivo. Thank you, Clara. We’ll definitely come back!

The hostess was kind and helpful, and the apartment felt warm and welcoming. One downside: the kitchen only has an induction hob, with no oven or microwave for heating food. There are 42 steps, and the elevator can’t be used.
