The hotel sits in a lovely spot, with several nice places to visit nearby. Our room was clean and spacious, though the furniture throughout the hotel felt old-fashioned. Service was below par, and the atmosphere came across as unwelcoming, sometimes even a little unfriendly. At checkout, the owner tried to bill us 15 euros for drinks we hadn't had. After we explained it several times, he reluctantly took the drinks off the bill one by one. When we checked the bill again, we found we'd still been charged 10 euros for drinks. The owner had messed with the numbers. Dishonest person.

The food was great, especially the tasty turkey, and the rooms were lovely and spacious. When our car broke down outside the hotel, the owner's son helped us talk to the breakdown service. Since we couldn't get a car, they even drove us to the nearest station. The service was great. I'd give more than five stars if I could, 10/10, couldn't recommend it more!

The bedroom window looked out on stunning views the next morning, and breakfast was excellent. SatNav was a lifesaver, as the hotel was farther away than I'd expected! It was more than adequate for an overnight stop. The proprietor didn't speak much English, but when we struggled he called over a younger person to help.

My son loved the place. He said there was so much at breakfast that he couldn't decide what to choose.

The food wasn't that good, and the waitress was really unfriendly.
