I booked Cascina Mentirone through Agoda on April 27, 2025, while searching for a place in Abbiategrasso. The confirmation showed it was actually in Rosate, so I cancelled right away. Neither the platform nor Cascina Mentirone would refund me, even partly. A bitter experience.

The food was local, genuine, and plentiful, and the room and bathroom were clean. There was parking too. It’s a quiet spot, away from traffic and noise, with a warm welcome that still felt informal. The owner is always available and a great talker, with stories from Formula 1, the Paris-Dakar, business, the sea, mountains, motorcycles, and horses. I found it almost by chance, and at an affordable price. I’ll definitely come back.

Francesco Flavio and Michele send a heartfelt thank you to Massimiliano for the warm welcome and hospitality, and for renewing the friendship. He deserves it!

Just one night here, but I felt at home. Max was such a friendly, helpful host, and the night out in the countryside left me feeling refreshed. Thank you!

A private, peaceful spot for unwinding on the plains, with Pavia, Vigevano, and Milan just a stone’s throw away.
