Altamira Residence

The location is good, close to the sea. The food is very tasty, the rooms are clean, and the staff are really friendly. I recommend this hotel.

We and our dogs were made to feel very welcome, and the hosts were always friendly and ready to help. The apartments are modern and very clean, with everything you need. The beach is close by, and there are lots of bike paths around, with plenty to explore. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely return. Grazie mile!!!

The outside of the building is very well maintained, but inside it feels like nothing has changed in about 20 years. The furnishings are poorly kept, and the spring mattress, made from two single beds, really seems due for replacement. The sheets are worn and scratchy, already pilled and likely to tear soon. The kitchen utensils were dirty, and there wasn't even a colander. There's an oven but no microwave, which would be much more useful for a short stay. The nearby beach is the cheapest kind, with vending machines but no bar. In its current condition, I can't call this a 3-star residence.

Anna was so friendly and helpful. I could reach her at any time, and she always helped or offered tips. Since the beach was closed in October, she even arranged three loungers for us there. She reserved an apartment with a large terrace, and bringing our dog was no problem at all. Our ground-floor room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped: plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, bowls, cupboards, an oven, gas stove, espresso maker, TV, and a really good fridge that didn't freeze everything. The location is ideal, with a large parking lot right next door, free from October through March. The beach is two minutes away on foot, and Conad is a five-minute walk. I really don't understand the bad reviews of Altsmira Residence. We'll definitely be back!
