We only stayed one night, but it was a smooth, really satisfying visit, and this was my second time here. The hosts were wonderful, and I’ll be back. The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and were always glad to help. There’s a private beach, plus a good market, cafe, and restaurant nearby. The on-site restaurant served tasty, good-quality food at reasonable prices, with plenty of choice. The pool was brilliant, and having a clothes rack at our pitch made it easy to dry our towels afterward. Everything was impressively clean and well looked after, including the sanitary facilities, which were spotless and working properly. It’s a good place for families, and the town is an easy bike ride away. Bikes are available to hire. Thank you.
The site’s position beside the lovely coastal resort of Rosetto was the main draw for us. We chose it because it was near our Italian family in Abruzzo, and despite some worrying reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. It’s a peaceful place with mostly Italian families, and very dog friendly. The dog facilities and play area are much better than the old, run-down children’s play area, which needs updating. Five stars for the pooches! Our clean, spacious Eurocamp 6 birth caravan had good A/C and a big decking area. We’ve stayed with Eurocamp many times in Italy, Spain, and France. The beach next to the site is very pebbly, although there’s a small sandy patch. Once you get past the stones and into the sea, it’s fine. For a bigger sandy beach, it’s about a five-minute drive or a nice walk or bike ride into town. The pool was smaller than at other places we’ve stayed, but it never felt crowded, and we always found 11 sunloungers together. Daytime entertainment was lively, with a friendly, energetic team. The evening shows could be better, though the team did their best. There were loads of mosquitos, and we all got bitten despite using plenty of repellent. They fumigated on our last night, but we’d already left before we could see whether it helped. Would I go again? Absolutely!
The city has wider, nicer beaches, along with plenty of pubs and restaurants. It’s around 2-4km away, depending on what you’re looking for, so the site feels a bit far from town. Still, the camping is very quiet, the pool and beach are okay, and the entertainment was amazing.
The restaurant was tasty and fairly priced, and we had a perfect one-night stay. Staff were really friendly. The place was clean, with sanitary facilities in good condition, and there was a rack at our site for drying towels.
What I liked most was the staff. They’re easygoing, friendly, and always smiling. I love seeing them ride around on bicycles saying “ciao” to everyone in the camping :)) The pool was very clean without them using an excessive amount of chlorine. The facilities are nice, and the restaurant isn’t too expensive. The pizzas taste good, too. The only downside was people making noise late into the night, though that’s not really the camping’s fault.
