Camping Campo dei Fiori

The Bolgheri mobile home was clean and extremely comfortable, and this has been our best camping experience in Italy so far. The staff were fantastic, and the resident restaurant, Marco's I believe, had superb food and service at very good prices. The supermarket looks small but has everything you need without being overpriced. Metamorfosi's entertainment team made both the kids and adults feel welcome and kept them entertained. There weren't many loungers around the pool, and some guests would leave towels to reserve spots for hours. The lifeguards tried to sort it out but often got a lot of pushback. That's shameful behavior from those guests, not the resort's fault. People also sometimes drove too fast around the campsite, though the front gate's limited opening hours helped keep that down. Those problems were down to guests, not the camping staff. We highly recommend the place and will most likely return!

We had a very good five nights in a mobile home. I can't comment on the pitches, but the campsite is well equipped for a family holiday. The pool is very good, and the shops have pretty much anything you might need if you forgot something at home. They're a little more expensive, but within walking distance. The animators and mini disco were top, at least for our kids. The walk to the beach and the local restaurant were the letdown. I'm not going to recommend it.

It's a huge, quiet, peaceful place in the middle of nature, a lovely place to rest and enjoy your stay in Tuscany. The crew are nice and ready to help at any time. The sea is 700 meters away, with a bus to take you there, or you can walk through the forest to reach the wild beach. The water is very clean and nice. There's also a nice pool at the campsite if you don't want to go to the beach.

Plenty of room, a beautiful pool and a great children's club with loads of activities. There's a market with all the food you need at reasonable prices, too. The camping is gorgeous, and the restaurant was a hit every time I ate there. Their pizza is among the best I've had, and I know pizza quite well. On my first visit I tried the "salumi misti" plate, and it was fantastic, as you can see in the photo. The bar is very good as well, with a delicious selection of croissants and pastries in the morning. A lovely way to start a holiday day. Absolutely recommended.
