We were five adults staying overnight before a sailing trip, and it worked well as a stopover for the price. The train station is right by the hotel, with the centre, marina and beaches nearby. Our room was clean and breakfast was good. Everyone we met was very friendly, from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping. Grazie!

The beach is only a short five-minute walk away. The place is a little dated, but I had a pleasant stay, and it was absolutely clean. The sheets and bedspread were fresh and pressed. Maria at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and the gentleman there in the morning, who also served breakfast and coffee, was just as wonderful.

The sewage smell from Hotel Elba spreads through the surrounding area, including residential neighborhoods and the newly built ATLANTIC PARK. The effluent plant seems completely inadequate for the amount of waste it produces, and the smell blights the whole area. Hotel Elba, locally nicknamed HOTEL SMELLBA, needs to connect to the mains system or rebuild its processing plant to handle the huge volume of human waste. Management, please fix this stink quickly, before nobody visits you.

The employees were nice and polite, and the place was clean. But the shower was terrible (see photo), the hair dryer was broken, and the towels were small and didn't absorb water well. The bedroom colors and furniture left me feeling depressed, kind of North Korean style? Go only if you have no other option.

The employees were very friendly. The room worked fine for two people and didn't feel too small. 💯
