Hotel Park Boutique

It's a charming hotel in an old mansion, with extremely friendly staff, excellent cleanliness and a generous, varied breakfast. The space is a bit tight, especially in the bathroom, and the sink area could use towel hooks.

The rooms are spacious, and there is guest parking. It's centrally located in Castiglioncello. The common areas have clearly seen better days, but the overall cleanliness and the two managers' attentiveness make the property's aged look seem unimportant.

The rooms each have their own theme, jungle, butterfly, harmony, oriental, and the staff are lovely people, very helpful and attentive to guests' needs. The villa is beautiful, set among pine trees, and close to both the sea and the center of Castiglioncello.

Breakfast was generous, with both sweet and savory choices, fresh fruit, and little pastries like bomboloni and ciambelle so we could sample a few kinds. We stayed one night on a June weekend by the sea in Castiglioncello, with my husband, our two children, and friends. The owners were kind and helpful, and the old villa and garden felt simple but very clean. The building could use some maintenance, though. There’s paid private parking too. More than adequate.
