Hotel Quisisana Vada

We only stayed a few days at Quisisana Hotel, but the people there made it memorable. The building is fairly standard, yet it’s clear they’ve put effort into keeping it up and improving it. Everything was clean and cared for, and those small touches made the stay comfortable. The restaurant was a highlight. I grew up in Italy, and I honestly haven’t had a pizza this delicious before. The ingredients come straight from Naples, and you can taste the difference. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. Meals arrived hot, cooked just right and on time. Even our young child loved every dish, and everyone who brought food to our table. The beach is easy to reach for a quick dip, and the reserved shaded parking was a real help in the summer heat. In the evenings, a little plaza down the street filled with locals and guests. Kids played, someone sometimes strummed a guitar or put on soft music, and one night we looked at the moon through a telescope someone had brought. The free beach is a short walk away too, nice for a quiet swim at night. It’s a simple place where things slow down and life feels sweet. The service made the biggest difference. From check-in, we felt welcome, valued, and truly looked after. Everyone greeted us warmly and sincerely, and being introduced by name made the experience feel personal and gave a sense of accountability I often miss in bigger hotels. One important staff member, who usually handled breakfast and maintenance and helped wherever needed, was away during our visit. The team quietly took on the extra work without missing a beat. Had no one told us, we probably wouldn’t have noticed. Everyone stepped up with dedication and grace, like a well-directed orchestra. Irina was meticulous about the details. Young Hamid served us in the restaurant with professionalism and a constant smile. The kitchen team, mostly out of sight, were right on point. We also met the young owners, Giuseppe and Serena. They were warm, funny, and genuinely hospitable, and you can feel their care throughout the hotel. They’re passionate about their work and their guests. We’ll definitely be back. Bring your appetite and your smile, and be ready to feel spoiled.
