Hotel Rosignano

We came across this place by luck and ended up having a perfect holiday. Ionela helped us whenever we needed something, and even mailed my forgotten external hard drive to the address I gave her, with no fuss. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Rosignano Solvay! It's a family-run hotel, just a 10-minute walk from the station, public beach, and supermarket. The rooms are lovely, cleaned thoroughly every day, and the air conditioning is already on before you arrive. Staff are polite, and it's quiet, with no kids or loud party crowd, which makes it a dream for couples. Breakfast is fresh and typically Italian, with delicious pastries, fresh fruit, organic vegetables from the garden, and proper espresso-machine coffee. Just ask for a cappuccino, espresso, or Americano. Rosignano is by the sea and about 35 minutes by train from Pisa train station. If you're tired of the usual English tourist spots, this is a great area to try. There are AUTHENTIC restaurants, little shops, cafes, and gelato places, with people still queuing at 11 p.m.

Public transport makes the town easy to reach, but the beach there is terrible. The white sandy beaches are a bus ride away. I was traveling alone and got a single room with no windows. In the hot summer weather, there was a constant smell of blocked drains.

We were in Rosignano for a funeral and stayed just one night. The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the staff extremely helpful. We'd like to come back another time under better circumstances.

Everything in the rooms was just right, and the hotel is in a perfect spot. The service was very friendly, and breakfast was the usual Italian kind. Very sweet.
