I couldn't bear to stay a second night, and ended up paying 112 euros for one of the worst nights I've ever had in the tiniest room. The bed was so small I was scared of falling out, the room itself was super small, and a red light blinked on the ceiling all night. I hadn't booked online, just arrived at the hotel after a long drive. When I checked out before 10 am, they insisted I pay for two nights because I'd mentioned I would stay in grado for a few nights. I gave up and paid. Never again. Take the time to look around. I found a fabulous hotel much closer to town, with a double bed, fridge, and balcony for just 46 a night, and slept wonderfully.

The family owner was really kind and nice. The pizza and meat were really good! I recommend it.

The location is bad, and the service wasn't good. Breakfast and internet, for example.

I stayed and had breakfast with the family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but breakfast was packaged supermarket food. On the last day there was nothing left for breakfast, and the owner was rude.
