We loved slowing down at Spirdo, enjoying the local food and wine and the beauty of the area. From there, we explored the beaches and towns around Ruffano, about 30 minutes from the coast. A wonderful escape, made even better by our amazing host.

The natural grounds were lovely for walks and just unwinding, and the location made it easy to explore the area. Our room was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The hostess and staff were so friendly and accommodating. Dinner was delicious too, with Apulian specialties prepared with care. Highly recommended.

The photos set expectations the stay didn't meet. I couldn't use the pool because the water was being treated throughout all three days. There was a moldy smell in the room, and moisture had damaged the plaster on part of the wall beside the single bed. The building had cats everywhere, and I wasn't given much information about places to see or visit. The room also wasn't cleaned daily. It's around 30 minutes from both Santa Maria di Leuca and Otranto.

Maria Luisa made us feel at home with her warm welcome and helpfulness, and the meal she prepared was sublime. The setting itself is magnificent, surrounded by nature, with beautifully designed rooms and shared spaces that have a poetic touch. Breakfast was excellent too. We'd be very happy to come back.

Maria Luisa and the whole team were always smiling and ready to answer our questions. We had a wonderful stay at Azienda Agicola Spirdo, with its magnificent 16-hectare grounds. The clean, comfortable rooms and apartments were great, and we really enjoyed the excellent organic food and superb breakfasts full of local products. We'd happily return if we visit Puglia again. Thank you to Maria Luisa and everyone.
