B&B Casa Fei

We booked the large family room last summer for two adults and our two small children. It was listed with three beds, two twins and a queen, so we thought we’d be fine. At around 8 pm, with the kids and no easy alternative nearby, we eventually paid 50% extra. We got the same single room, though, and it became one of the most expensive rooms of our trip. I still don’t understand why we were charged for two rooms when they only gave us one. The woman was rude and refused to let us check in under the original booking. She wanted us to pay for two rooms and cancelled our booking through booking.com. We kept saying the family room with three beds was fine, but she wouldn’t budge and had her husband show us how to cancel. He said he’d done this with other guests many times and was good at it. The room itself wasn’t great either. The bathroom smelled bad, the Wi-Fi was almost unusable, and there was no TV. There’s nothing to see from the hilltop, and if you’re driving, watch out for the narrow, winding roads. I wouldn’t recommend going there with kids.
