We loved the peaceful pool and the lovely rooms at Masseria Violente. Breakfast was delicious too, and the whole place felt like a real escape. We only booked a week before our holiday, but weren't disappointed at all. Elisa booked us a different restaurant for each night, and every one was delicious. We wouldn't have found them on our own. When our flight was late, the owners let us stay by the pool after checkout and gave us a room to freshen up in before we left. Girolamo even brought us a gin and tonic by the pool. They were such thoughtful, welcoming hosts and really went above and beyond. We just wish we spoke Italian so we could have shared an aperitivo with them one evening. We'll definitely be back!

A great place to stay. The beds were good, the saltwater pool was lovely, and the air conditioning worked. Breakfast was royal, and they had gluten-free options.

Breakfast had local specialties, and every little wish seemed to be anticipated and taken care of right away. The rooms are furnished with care and reflect the Masseria's history. It's a gently restored farmhouse in the natural surroundings of Salento, managed sustainably, with the animals treated very well. The pool water quality is exceptional. A lovely place to experience la dolce vita. Many thanks to the owners, Gerolamo and Lisa, and Violante!

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the breakfasts were sublime, with both sweet and savory choices. Girolamo and Elisa were incredibly attentive hosts. It's also a very relaxing place and well located for getting to destinations around Salento in just a few minutes. We'll definitely come back! 🤗
