I was on a road trip through Italy and only stayed one night. Even though I got there at midnight, the host waited for me since I couldn’t arrive earlier. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the shower had hot water right away. Breakfast was nice and decent, and the host was very helpful with great service. I’d recommend it.

Mr. Mariano made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and we quickly knew we’d picked the right place. My wife and I came across it while browsing online, and this is the first time we’ve felt moved to give such a positive review on every count. The welcome, friendliness, professionalism, and cleanliness were all beyond anything we expected. We also got tips and suggestions for places to visit, and there was a real willingness to talk and have constructive conversations. We’d gladly recommend staying here, and can’t imagine future guests feeling otherwise.

The biggest drawback was how much noise came through the walls. Our neighbors showered around 11 pm each night, and we could hear nearly every drop, so getting to sleep then was impossible. Bring earplugs and you should be fine. Aside from that, it’s a lovely hotel, with attractive rooms, balconies, and genuinely helpful, friendly staff. After our first night they gave us the information we needed about the area, including places to visit and good restaurants.

Mariano had plenty of suggestions for dinner and places to hang out, and the hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was a real treat, everything I ate was freshly made, and gluten-free options were available if you let them know ahead of time. What a gem at Mendola. I’ll remember this place, and this definitely wasn’t my last stop there. 🙃

A cute little mountain “hotel,” with super friendly, helpful staff. It really feels like home.
