Locanda Di Praticino

We keep coming back because this is such a great place. It’s a beautiful spot to stay, with helpful, friendly staff and a restaurant serving delicious food in a wonderful setting.

The desserts were fine, but we’ll never return. Service was terrible, the wine was terrible, and the food was miserable. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter, even though the restaurant was empty. He didn’t know whether they had soft drinks, went to ask the kitchen, and never came back with an answer. We also didn’t get knives and forks for our main dish. The deep-fried vegetables and chicken were oversalted and greasy. We ordered five portions, but the chef decided we only needed three. It cost EUR 14. If you like grease and salt, this is the dish for you. Inside, the restaurant also had lousy acoustics and was very loud.

A clean, refreshing pool and a tasty dinner option in the evening were highlights. The rooms are simple but clean, and breakfast is simple but tasty. The staff are super nice. It’s a remote place where you can relax, with no car noise or city sounds, just crickets chirping and the wind blowing.

We’ll always treasure the memory of our wedding at Locanda di Praticino. It’s a very special restaurant and wedding venue, with fantastic traditional Tuscan food. From our first visit, we fell in love with the people, the food, and the atmosphere. Grazie, Olimpia & team.
