The owners are so kind and helpful, and I’ll definitely come back. Il Vicolo is welcoming, warm, and spotless, with all the comfort and convenience you could want. I recommend it to everyone.
I’ve now stayed at this B&B twice with my family. The owner is always friendly and ready to help, and both rooms are spacious, lovely, and equipped with everything we needed. They were exceptionally clean.
We came for Ruvo’s Cardoncello festival on November 10th and 11th. The B&B was just a few steps from one of the festival streets, but far enough away that we could avoid the crowds and noise. It had only opened a few days before our stay, so everything was brand new, and it was immaculately clean and tidy. My old navigator couldn’t find the address, possibly because IL VICOLO used to have a different name, Via Pomponio. The owner kindly talked us through getting there, and his suggestions for places to visit the next day were invaluable. I usually spend as little time as possible in my accommodation so I can explore the area’s natural beauty and monuments. But anyone who prefers to stay in will have a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV to enjoy. Breakfast is served at a partner café overlooking the main street, where they make an excellent cappuccino. There’s no reserved parking, which is understandable in the historic center’s limited traffic zone. Still, we found a spot just a couple of minutes’ walk away without much trouble. Highly recommended, and see you next time!
The owners were so kind and patient, and there were business cards at the entrance for nearby restaurants and pizzerias. This new property is tastefully furnished, with a kitchenette and two air conditioners, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. For the amenities, the price is reasonable. It’s tucked away on a charming alley near the center, and we felt like we’d found a little corner of paradise. I’d happily stay here again if I get the chance.
We were there for just one night, but I slept like a log and felt right at home. The owner was unbelievably kind. It’s a real gem in a beautiful, character-filled village, and everything is new and clean. There were herbal teas, coffee, and biscuits, so we felt very looked after. The cleanliness was excellent, congratulations. I hope I can come back.
