The hostess was very kind, and breakfast was plentiful and really good. We had a wonderful time, and bringing our dog along worked out wonderfully too. If you’re passing through Sabbioneta, it’s worth considering a weekend in the Parma area. It’s a lovely B&B.

The owners were friendly and easy to reach, and there’s free parking just a few steps from the entrance. The B&B is almost in the center of Sabbioneta. Our clean room was a good size, with a small refrigerator, and the new bathroom had a shower and was cleaned daily.

Sabbioneta has no train service, but Mrs. Nuncia and Mr. Franco were incredibly generous and drove us to nearby towns. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam and fruit, and we ate in the house’s dining room surrounded by lovely photos.

The furnishings are a little dated, though the place is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bathroom seems recently renovated and has everything you need, and there’s a good breakfast available. It’s on a very quiet street just outside the center, with Piazza Ducale about a 5-minute walk away. There’s plenty of parking in front of the B&B, free at all times.

Breakfast in the garden was a lovely way to begin a visit to the city. The people were helpful and courteous, and our room was large, comfortable, and quiet. Very nice place.
