Toson D'oro Bed & Breakfast

A cozy B&B with a nice modern room and a great breakfast. The hosts are especially charming.

The location is strategic, inside the walls of a historic village at the crossroads of three provinces. Everything was absolutely perfect: the furnishings, the clean rooms, the kindness, and the warm welcome. The breakfast was amazing, with all the pastries made at 5 am by Alice!!! You can feel the love in every detail. It has the true spirit of a B&B, which has almost disappeared. Highly recommended!

Alice and Alfredo are delightful. They welcomed us warmly and courteously, and we felt at home right away. We’re grateful for their useful advice and for the passion they put into the property and the care they give their guests. The property is stunning, with clear attention to aesthetics and guests’ well-being. Our room was tastefully furnished, welcoming, spotlessly clean, and carefully maintained. Breakfast was a real treat, varied and top quality. A gem in the heart of the “Ideal City”!

Alice and Alfredo, along with their family, were attentive, friendly, and helpful from our arrival right through departure. They were always smiling, available, and generous with advice and attention, while never being intrusive. Their knowledge and professionalism really add something, and you can see the care and love they put into the business in the furnishings, breakfast sets, and collectibles, as well as the attention they give their guests. The homemade breakfast deserves special mention: generous, authentic, and varied, with plenty of sweet and savory choices and care for guests’ preferences and food intolerances. We had a comfortable, clean, elegant second-floor suite, with a spacious, fragrant bathroom and a room equipped with everything, including hot and cold air conditioning, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, TV, and mosquito nets. There was also a convenient parking space right in front of the entrance. Sabbioneta deserves a place to stay worthy of its history, its charm as an “Ideal Renaissance City,” and its priceless landscapes and artistic and architectural treasures. Calling it memorable would be an understatement. Top class.
