Chateau

Our stay was pleasant, and I’d recommend the hotel. The facilities were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helped with our luggage. English can be a little tricky, so have a translator app ready. We booked through Agoda and had to pay the tourist tax separately at checkout. It’s in charming St Pierre, with the castle right across from it and parking across the street.

We enjoyed the week here a lot. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff consistently hospitable, and breakfast was fresh and varied every day. The one inconvenience was not being able to control the heaters independently.

The balcony view was astonishing, with nature all around and the beautiful medieval castle of San Pierre in sight. This B&B is in a nice spot, about 20 km from Aosta and around 30 km from Mont Blanc, which you must visit. The price is very affordable for time with your loved ones. Breakfast is well prepared, and there’s a downstairs bar with the basics and fun needs. Our room was ready for us, with nice beds and two TVs. The bathroom was clean, and the service was excellent and very gentle.

The breakfast was really good, with a great choice of bread, croissants, cakes, and coffees. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious. The room and bathroom were clean, though the bed cover wasn’t. The big issue was the noise at night. We were above the restaurant and patio. Guests had mostly left by 11, so their evening noise was fine, but restaurant staff sat outside after their shift, yelling and smoking until really late. Smoke came up into our room, which wasn’t great with our baby asleep there. Then they stacked the tables and chairs, which was noisy too. I’d ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
