A wonderful experience...

Piero was so kind and helpful, sharing advice and information for our outings. He also made delicious cakes for breakfast, which we enjoyed in this peaceful little haven with a spectacular view. The room was spacious and comfortable, and my children and I had a wonderful stay. A magical place, though perhaps not for everyone. Thanks again, Piero. We'll be back!

I'm giving one star only because I can't give less. The owner's rudeness was something else. My girlfriend and I were looking for a two-night stay. We tried to contact the place and book online, but nobody answered and the site kept crashing. Once we finally reached the owner, he came across as cold and completely unwilling to work with us. We only asked if breakfast could start half an hour earlier, if possible. His answer was that breakfast was at the set time, end of story. He also immediately said that checking in after 6 would cost an extra 25 euros. We explained that we both work and would arrive around 6:30 or 7, but he just repeated that it would be another 25 euros. We cancelled the booking. Rudeness, unfriendliness, and a total lack of flexibility all fit, and the owner even reminded me of a poor copy of Snape from Harry Potter. I definitely won't recommend this place, and I'll tell my contacts to avoid it. Strongly not recommended! Mario.

We spent a lovely week here and would definitely come back. The location was great for visiting castles, with everything within an hour, and the valley view was beautiful. There were five of us, and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely renovated. Piero gave us excellent suggestions for walks and restaurants, without ever being intrusive. We saw him at breakfast and again in the evening, chatting while dinner was being prepared. It's a charming place surrounded by nature. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with milk, coffee, chocolate for the kids, and a choice of two cakes he had baked himself.
