DB Villas Le Ville del Lido Resort

The pool is lovely, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are friendly. Lido is quiet, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the main shopping and eating area and the boats to Venice. A great peaceful place away from the bustle, but close enough to reach the main sights. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for that. The 11 Bus to Chioggia makes a great day out.

The apartment was laid out very well, with two bedrooms, separate bathrooms, a balcony and a terrace tucked away from outside view. The individual houses are spaced out around a swimming pool, tidy green areas and even a small pond with water lilies. Local shops, restaurants and other amenities are within walking distance. The location is wonderful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing we wanted was missing. All in all, great, and we'd be happy to come back.

The rooms had plenty of space for our family, plus a small kitchen area and terrace. Lido itself is peaceful, and the hotel pool was great for unwinding after a day in the crowds. The beach is nearby too, which could be handy with kids. The old feel of everything and problems with the AC made sleeping really unpleasant during our summer visit. Getting from the airport with luggage and into Venice for sightseeing also took more effort than we'd expected, so think about what you want from the location before booking.

Staff were friendly and the service was good. The garden was well kept, and the pool area was clean. The pool was a good size, but the jets in the water lounge area weren't working, and the hot tub was cold. The room felt quite dated, with sagging beds and a rusty towel bar. The AC in the bedroom didn't work. There's a beach across the street, but it's private and we weren't allowed in. The free beach is 1 km away. I was told you can get in when the security guard isn't there. There aren't any shops or restaurants right nearby, they're about a 10-15 minute walk. They also don't leave water or other refreshments in the room for guests.
