The quiet setting made a great retreat from the crowds, while still putting us in an ideal spot to explore Bologna and Modena. Palazzo Minelli has the feel of a historic Italian country estate, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The service was especially friendly, and it's a lovely base for discovering Emilia-Romagna.

11 out of 10! We loved the spacious, clean room and the lovely pool. Francesca and Sara were incredibly kind, and helped us with suggestions for things to do nearby. There was a wine tasting event on our first night, which we could join, and it was such a nice way to begin our stay at the palazzo. Breakfast was lovely too.

The pool is a dream, and we loved every second of our two night stay. The room was nice, everything was clean, and the people were friendly. If you're looking for somewhere in the countryside near Bologna and Modena, this is the place!

Beautiful sunflower fields surround Palazzo Minelli in the heart of the Bologna countryside. Sarah and Donatella do a fantastic job of making guests feel relaxed and welcome. It's a stunning spot, and I 100% recommend it.
