We had a lovely stay, and Antonietta made us a wonderful breakfast and sat with us to talk about life in Salerno. Her hospitality was amazing. The room was very comfortable, with its own very clean bathroom. Vincenzo gave us all the information we needed about the place and how to get there from the time we booked. It's around a 15-minute walk from the train station and the same to the ferry for the Amalfi coast. Thanks again for everything. I hope to return and would definitely book Al Sesto B&B again. 😍

Right in the town centre, just a few metres from the seafront promenade. The refurbished rooms are really good! 🛏️

The host was amazing and made us a lovely breakfast. A very good place to stay.

The room was tidy, and breakfast was nice. Shops, places to eat, and other facilities are close by, and the city centre isn't far.

The main drawback was the balcony, which was partly enclosed and let little light in, so the room felt dark in the evening. Otherwise, the room was spacious and welcoming, with a recently renovated, clean bathroom that had everything we needed. We appreciated the big hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo, plus the complimentary kettle, ground coffee, tea, and cups. Breakfast felt like being served at home rather than at a bar. The hostess made coffee or tea, with water, milk, juices, yogurt, cereal, toast, jam, butter, warm croissants, and rolls. I don't think cappuccino was available. There's one table for everyone in the living room, beside the open kitchen and its large wooden breakfast table. The B&B occupies part of a large sixth-floor apartment where the owner also lives, with just two guest rooms, one triple and one double. It looks recently renovated, though the antique-style furniture is well kept. The location near Salerno station was great, and parking was convenient: paid spaces right outside, or free parking on the next street. The price was very reasonable, and it worked well as a base for one night in Salerno.
