Albergo Santa Rosa

Mauro was one of the best hosts I've met. He gave us detailed advice and information, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with everything we needed, including air conditioning. It's quiet and safe at night, with a grocery store a 5-10 minute walk away. The location is top-notch: on the main pedestrian street, Vittorio Emanuele, and about 200m from the train station, next to the bus stations and close to one of the two ferry terminals. The other is a 15-minute walk. It's a great base for Salerno and for exploring the Amalfi Coast.

Mauro was warm and friendly, waiting to greet me when I arrived. Check-in was easy, and he took the time to explain nearby attractions in English for guests who don't speak Italian, as well as how the room's facilities and switches worked. He even offered a complimentary breakfast at the restaurant just beneath his B&B. The location deserves more than five stars: easy to find, near the station and pier, with plenty of places to eat nearby. The room had decent facilities and a nice fridge, and the air conditioning was cool without the noise I've had at other B&Bs. A great stay, and thanks again to the host.

Mauro was kind and friendly, and shared lots of useful travel information. The place was very clean and felt safe, with good Wi-Fi. It's well located for Salerno Train station and the Salerno ( Concordia ) Ferry Terminal, with boats to Amalfi, Positano, and Capri island. Restaurants, bars, a big mart, and shopping street shops are all close by. Definitely great value for the stay. Grazie!

The room was clean but furnished very simply. For breakfast, the nearby café offered only coffee, cappuccino or tea and a croissant. Mornings were very noisy. The small hotel is conveniently placed for the seafront and the central streets for walking and shopping, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
