The room and the sheets and towels were fairly clean, but the bed frame was really dirty. I suspect there may have been bugs, since my skin itched and I had small bites on my legs and hands. We also found shampoo and body wash, but the shampoo seemed to have been refilled with something other than the brand on the bottle. We booked for two nights mainly because the listing said “sea view” and we expected to be near the beach. If you’re driving, there’s no parking close by. The nearest option is a 15-minute walk and costs 1 euro an hour. We paid 33 euro for two days. With luggage, bear in mind the B&B is on the second floor and there are lots of stairs. The rooms are rented separately in an apartment, so it was noisy. The owner came by at 9am to check the rooms, and even the sound of her keys was loud. The old town streets were busy with scooters and people, which made it hard to rest. My husband got only five hours of sleep over two nights. We knew it was a B&B and expected some issues. We’re easygoing and can adapt, but the price felt too high for these conditions. Italian friends we met said there were many nicer options for less. We’d spent 10 nights in an amazing trullo in Puglia just before this, so the contrast probably added to our disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Thanks ☺️

I spent three weeks here and had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the maid changed my bed and towels every other day. Titti and her husband were great hosts. They met me on Via Roma so I wouldn’t get lost, showed me around the apartment and city, and were always reachable by phone when I needed help. It’s a good spot for Centro Istorico, restaurants, and Salerno’s attractions. Grazie mile, ci vediamo presto!

The owners were really kind, and the room was clean. It’s a nice base for visiting the Amalfi coast and the islands around Salerno, with good transport connections to get around. The location is strategic, and B&B degli amalfitani was a lovely place to stay and enjoy our time.

The hosts made me feel like an old friend. They picked me up and helped with my bags more than once, and their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Honestly, the stay would have been worth it for them alone. I can’t rave about the place enough, and I’m definitely coming back to Italy. The room had its own veranda, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I slept incredibly well on the first night. The rooms are lovely, and the cleaning staff are very kind and thorough. Everything was clean and quiet, right in the centro storico near bars and lots of places to eat. One of the ferry ports is close too, so the Amalfi coast is only minutes away by boat. It’s easily one of my top five lodging experiences as an extensive traveller. Book quickly, they fill up fast 😂 It felt like an oasis in paradise.

The host was helpful, reserved parking for my car, and suggested plenty of places to visit and restaurants. The room was big and clean, about 600 m from the center.
