B&B Adelberga

We spent 4 nights at Adelberga Bed & Breakfast in mid October 2013, and Ludovico made our time in Salerno much more enjoyable. It's in the old historic part of town, about 8/10 of a mile from the train station. We arrived late on Saturday night, and Ludovico was waiting on a corner to help us find the hotel. The rooms were clean and updated, and breakfast was great. Ludovico also had suggestions for sights, places to eat, and taking the ferries to the Amalfi coast or Capri. We liked the area enough to add 2 more nights, but Adelberga B&B was fully booked. Ludovico had recently opened another place, Zara B&B on Via Zara, near the train station. His wife runs it, and we were delighted with our stay there too. Ludovico even drove our luggage over in his car. Zara B&B is modern and very clean, and we highly recommend it.

Ludovico was really kind and helpful, and the location was excellent and clean. We left some things behind in the room, but he managed to send them back to us. I'd definitely return.

The host was lovely and kind, and the rooms were very nice. It's right in the heart of Salerno. It took a bit of effort to find because Google Maps showed a different address, though it was on the same streets and the number was slightly off.

The worst. Everything was dirty, and they didn't change the towels until after 4 days. There was no service and no kitchen.
