December is a nice time to catch the Christmas lights, and the location makes it easy to walk to the attractions. The room rate was very good, and breakfast was savory, with a hot coffee, cappuccino, or barley coffee. The small room felt a bit dim, partly because of where the lights were placed. There was no bidet, and the shower had no soap dish 😅. That was probably the only downside to my stay in Salerno.

The staff were spectacular, and the stay was excellent. I took off one star because there was noise in the surroundings all night, though it wasn't the host's fault.
