There are three rooms on the 6th floor of a nice apartment building with an elevator. The triple room gives you a lot more space, with a little sofa to sit on if you're not using it as a bed, and there's a balcony too. You can really spread out in there. One side of the bed does sag.

We were lucky to get the room with a balcony, and the view over Salerno town was good. It was clean, well located, and good value. Breakfast was cold, with capsule coffee, cakes, biscuits and the like, but it filled us up.

It's very close to the train station, which was exactly what we wanted, and still an easy walk to the nicer part of town for restaurants and shops. Finding the place took a little effort, and the area isn't pretty. It didn't look especially clean either. The electric shower and toilet made a lot of noise, but for one night it was absolutely fine. There was a coffee machine, a water dispenser, and a shared fridge for guests. For breakfast, we could either call or pick something up from the shop downstairs on our way to the station, which was really convenient.

The flat itself wasn't anything special, but the location was great, especially for getting in late by train. It's two minutes from the station and two minutes from the promenade, right on the main street with bars, fast food places, and pizzerias nearby. The lady was very nice and came to let me in even though I arrived at 22:30. Check-out was early, at 09:30.
