We spent three sensational nights here, and the host’s kindness made a huge difference. Our flight to Naples was delayed, then our train to Salerno ran late too, but he was completely understanding. He even came to get us around 1:00 a.m. and helped us reach the accommodation. He has a wonderful family, gave us tips for Salerno, and we enjoyed talking about our countries. For me, the host’s quality at Suite 39 B&B is what really lifts a stay. The place itself was very clean and had all the amenities. Breakfast was included, with delicious coffee, cookies, lemonade, and mineral water available at any time. It’s easy to walk to the port, train station, pedestrian areas, and busy parts of town. We’re from Paraguay and had a great time here.

The location worked perfectly for us: around ten minutes on foot to the train station and the port, where ferries go to Amalfi, Positano, Capri, and other places. During our September 2025 stay at Suite 39 Guest House, the room was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the welcome was warm and friendly. They’d left water, coffee, snacks, and all the little amenities ready. It felt like staying with a relative. Easily the best place we stayed on our trip around Italy. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Luigi made check-in easy and was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and looked even better than the photos, and it’s only a short walk from the train station. We stayed a couple of nights in January, using Salerno as a base for Pompeii and Amalfi, and would recommend this place to anyone visiting. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a short, fairly easy walk from both the train station and port. We were on the fifth floor, fourth by European counting, and there’s a small elevator that was handy with luggage, though it may feel too cramped if you’re claustrophobic. Cars were audible at night, so light sleepers should keep that in mind. Be sure to let them know your expected arrival time.

We had a good stay, especially because the location was so convenient, close to the station and not far from food and a shopping strip. The balcony was a nice bonus. The toilet was a little confusing at first, since there was no plunger, but we eventually figured out how to flush it. The bed also squeaked quite a bit and wasn’t as comfortable as we’d hoped. I’d recommend it for a short visit like ours.
